Saw Muddy in my hometown Hamilton Ontario in 1977. John Hammond Jr. opened. Then Muddy opening for Eric Clapton in Buffalo two years later.

I think Steve Winwood was about 12 years old here? LOL. The guy was super talented for 21 years old.

Some of these were the numbers used on the 1970's King Biscuit Flower Hour radio concert series (if anyone recalls that). I recorded their show on a little mono radio/cassette recorder. Sound wasn't great but I loved the Taylor solos. Many years later I bought one of the bootleg CD's with proper sound and WOW, like hearing it for the first time. Keith may prefer the "guitar weave" with Wood, but the tremendous slide and lead work by Taylor up against Keith's great aggressive rhythm playing from their '73 tour was absolutely the Stones at their peak as a band.

Watching this and just watched some Traffic live. These were guys who just wanted to play music, practice their craft! You just don't see REAL MUSCIANS anymore, what a shame.

I didn't really know it was with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. But I recognized the guitar sound, so I had to see his face, yep. Eric. Then I saw a strawberry blonde bearded rocknroller on the drums... Truly and epic concert

I was there 55 years ago today at age 13. Very exciting.

Love this song and band. Could you imagine Clapton kept playing like in Cream it would be crazy. He was mellowing at that time and transitioning from that insane stuff he did. Still a great solo, but could have been epis, still amazing great song.
